This project was located on the west coast of the South Island in a small place called Kaiata where the installation of the new watermain put the small township onto mains water supply. 2.2km of HDPE water main was installed in what is called a natural rain forest due to its unpredictable weather and high annual rainfall which certainly lived up to its reputation.
